aamanns 1921
Magical dining experiences calls for magical surroundings and at restaurant Aamanns 1921 guests are greeted by high ceilings, clean lines, bright materials, an imaginative terrazzo floor and impressive brass chandeliers.
Recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, Aamanns 1921 is a Danish restaurant giving a modern and refined take on the classic danish ‘smørrebrød’ in beautiful, historic surroundings in the center of Copenhagen.
The interiors at Aamanns 1921 is inspired by the impressive aesthetics of a church. The designer behind the décor Anders Busk Faarborg wanted to create surroundings that doesn’t overwhelm but leaves the spotlight for the thing it’s all about: the ingredients and the flavours. It is a place where aesthetics and function merge with interiors custom made by genuine materials, reflecting the same sense of quality in the décor as in the cooking. The furnishing which includes the Sibast No 7 and Sibast No 8 Dining chairs designed by Helge Sibast in 1953 elegantly blends in with this vision.
